Professional Development

Our nationally recognized model of literacy training is one of the most requested programs at A Cultural Exchange. Locally and in some of the largest school districts across the country, we have touched teachers, parents and agency administrators with an informative, intensive series of professional development workshops.

One popular session, for example, helps educators analyze and identify the difference between "good books and bad books," an important skill in selecting classroom literature that is culturally relevant, unbiased and non-stereotypical.
